| We will all remember the day, where we were, what we were doing when we
heard the news. We'll remember the shock, the horror, the anger ... and the
questioning. Why? How? Watching the towers fall ... it was like watching a movie ... thinking ... 'No this can't be real ... this can't be happening!' ... To hear that our Pentagon was hit was just as much of an unreal event ... and then ... shock ... 'OH MY GOD ... the people ... the firefighters, the officers, the workers ...' ... Thinking ... that could have been me ... in the building ... could have been my family ... my friends ... and for some people it was ... this nation will take a long time to heal from such a disaster ... and then those in the planes ... what could have been going through their minds ... the minds of those who got in one last final call ... those who jumped from a burning building ... and those who heard the anguished calls ... what memories we have to live with ... to deal with each and every day ... and to now know fear ... it can happen anywhere at any time to anyone ... no one has been unaffected by this tragedy ... the US isn't the only one suffering during this time ... cause it can happen ... unless we unite and take care of the problem it will go on ... and on ... |
We must remember those who died in the line of duty ... those who lost love ones in such a tragic way. I shall never forget those who serve this country, not only in times like this, but those who serve us every day to keep liberty alive ... I would like to thank each and everyone of you ... from years past ... to now ... for the freedom I have today ... May God Bless You All. Robin C.
